Who we are
SayBetter is an AI communication-coaching app operated by Omnivatis (“we”, “us”). Contact: omnivatissynergy@gmail.com.
Information we collect
The categories below match what we declare in the Apple App Store and Google Play data-safety forms.
- Contact info — email address and name for your account.
- User content — the take you record, which is transcribed and then discarded; the transcript, rewrite and coaching that are kept; your practice and explanation languages.
- Purchases — subscription product and entitlement dates from Apple App Store / Google Play (we do not store full payment card numbers).
- Identifiers — account user ID; device / push token identifiers used for Firebase Cloud Messaging and analytics.
- Usage data — product interaction events (for example sign-in, practice starts, paywall views, restore/purchase) via Firebase Analytics.
- Diagnostics — crash and performance data via Firebase Crashlytics to keep the app reliable.
How we use information
- App functionality — authenticate you, run the coaching (transcription and rewriting), sync history, enforce free-trial and subscription limits, and send optional practice / service notifications when you allow them.
- Analytics — understand feature use and improve SayBetter (Firebase Analytics).
- Diagnostics — find and fix crashes and reliability issues.
We do not use this data for third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising (no App Tracking Transparency / advertising identifier tracking).
AI processing
Speech and text from practice sessions are processed by our AI provider (currently OpenAI) to produce the transcript and the coaching. Recorded audio is not stored: it is sent for transcription and then discarded, and only the resulting text is kept. Do not share sensitive personal data you would not want processed this way.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed with:
- Infrastructure & product providers — hosting, database, AI processing (OpenAI), analytics and crash reporting (Google Firebase), and push delivery.
- Apple / Google — in-app purchases and store requirements.
- Authorities when required by law.
Data linked to you
Account, content, purchase, identifier, usage, and diagnostic data listed above can be associated with your SayBetter account when you are signed in.
Retention
We keep your account and your saved sessions while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account), which removes your account data from our systems subject to backups, security, and legal retention needs.
Your choices
- Update profile and learning preferences in the app.
- Control microphone and notification permissions in system settings.
- Manage or cancel Premium in App Store or Google Play.
- Delete your account in Settings, or email us for privacy requests.
Children
SayBetter is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
